Heart Lovin’ Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil (make sure cold-pressed)
  • 1/3 cup or fresh scallions (beware of added fillers and preservatives)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp Honey (raw is best)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper fresh cracked
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder or fresh scallions
  • 1 clove fresh garlic pressed & minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • Fresh herbs of choice to taste (basil, cilantro, thyme..)

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a mason jar and close the lid tightly.
  • Shake the ingredients until well blended.
  • Drizzle 1-2 Tb(s) on your favourite salad to add a savoury heart-healthy nutritional punch.
