The warming effect of turmeric and ginger can help promote a restful sleep and encourage digestion as well.  This cup of warmth has anti-inflammatory properties in addition to boosting your immune system.  This is one delicious easy to start habit you won’t want to give up.

Golden Latte

Ingredients

Turmeric paste:

  • ¼ tsp turmeric paste
  • ¼ tsp ground pepper helps absorption
  • ½ cup water

For the Latte:

  • ½ tsp turmeric paste
  • 1 cup Organic Coconut Milk canned
  • 1 tsp grated Ginger
  • 1½ tsp coconut oil
  • Raw honey to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste

Instructions

  • To make turmeric paste: Put above ingredients in pan, cook on medium heat for 7-9 minutes. Keep stored in a tightly sealed glass jar for up to one week in the refrigerator.
  • Place turmeric paste, coconut milk, and ginger in a pan.  Cook until steaming, not boiling.  Remove from heat and add honey, coconut oil, and cinnamon.  Enjoy!
