My philosophy revolves around the idea that if it’s packaged or processed, avoid it but if you can grow it, pick it, or hunt it, nourish your body with it. You should thoroughly enjoy anything you put in your mouth and get pleasure from sharing your meals with family and friends.
I have been blessed to work with some great farmers, who have taught me so much about our food and food production methods. They have dedicated their lives to being stewards of our earth, providing fresh, nutrient-rich foods. I will encourage you to take advantage of sustainable local farms as much as you can.

You are unlike any other client I have. That’s why I take the time to create a customized plan that is ideal for your specific goals and needs. I want to hear your story. Prior to our initial one-on-one appointment, I will ask you to provide a comprehensive health history, have basic laboratory evaluations available, and fill out detailed metabolic assessment questionnaires. My work to support you begins way before we meet.

An Emphasis on Cooking
It’s one thing to be able to buy or grow farm fresh food but cooking truly opens up doors. I am not talking gourmet, I am talking simple and easy – that’s all it has to be. Over the years, I have worked with amazing chefs as well as taught myself how to cook the foods that I pick from my backyard garden and purchase from local farms. You can expect me to share my passion and knowledge of cooking so you can say goodbye to fast food drive thrus and packaged foods and hello to delicious, nutritious homemade meals.
Realistic Expectations
Just like you, I am a human being with my own set of flaws. While I’m nowhere near perfect, I do make a conscious effort to fill my body with foods that nourish my body, daily movement/physical activity that fits into my routine, and positive thoughts and gratitude for my life that fills my soul.
I am blessed to have amazing children, a supportive husband, hobbies I enjoy, and a long list of other things that keep me busy, yet I make time for my health and will encourage you to do the same, regardless of how hectic your life may be.
