Heart Lovin’ Balsamic Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil (make sure cold-pressed)
- 1/3 cup or fresh scallions (beware of added fillers and preservatives)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (or to taste)
- 1 tbsp Honey (raw is best)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper fresh cracked
- 1/4 tsp onion powder or fresh scallions
- 1 clove fresh garlic pressed & minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- Fresh herbs of choice to taste (basil, cilantro, thyme..)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a mason jar and close the lid tightly.
- Shake the ingredients until well blended.
- Drizzle 1-2 Tb(s) on your favourite salad to add a savoury heart-healthy nutritional punch.
